The California Fire Photographers Association (CFPA) is a non-profit association of Fire Photographers primarily located in and around California. The purpose of the group is to unite photographers with an interest in all of the areas related to Fire Photography by educating members; to increase their photographic knowledge, experience and skills while sharing these things with other photographers. Membership in the CFPA is limited to photographers who actively document the Fire Service. The majority of the membership are working Photographers in Southern California, some are in Northern California and the rest are located around the country and around the world. CFPA members include active and former Firefighters, professional Photographers and other Photographers dedicated to documenting the Fire Service. The CFPA may have some limited affiliations with other similar Fire Photography or Fire Buff organizations world wide, contact us if your group is interesed in any formal interaction with the CFPA.
