The CFPA had photo displays at the Fire Service day displays at both Burbank and Los Angeles City. In Burbank the fire department holds the event at Fire Station 11, the joint headquarters of the Police and Fire departments. Los Angeles City holds Fire Service day events all over the city, we exhibited at Station 88. |

| Fire Service day is a day that the fire department takes time to open up the fire stations to to public and show some of the equipment that is used to save lives. The CFPA takes this time to show some of the photographs that we have taken through the years. Typical demonstrations include: how to use a fire extinguisher, extinguishing a car fire and extrication drills. | ||||||||

Between the two departments represented, some of the equipment that was displayed this year included: helicopters, airport crash rigs, fire tractors, USAR trucks, hazardous materials vans, historical engines, as well as the usual trucks, engines and rescue ambulances. Other booths shown included the Red Cross at both locations, the Walt Disney company and Warner Brothers Fire Departments at Burbank and the Box 15 club of Los Angeles at LA City Station 88. | |||||||
