March 2004 Brush fire

On March 28, 2004, the Los Angeles County fire department responded to a report of fire in the wash behind the Crossroads shoping complex along SR-60 near the I-605.
This fire was found to be burning behind the houses on Loumont street in the Avatado Heights area.
The fire was contained by copters and ground crews within two hours.
The Equipment responded to this 2nd alarm fire included both the Fire Hawk and 412 type helicopters as well as Dozers, Camp crews and firefighters from the East County area.
